hey dementia999
nobody is here. everyone is grown-up now, so nobody has time to post while drunk on the internet. liss' backyard is full of oil. neil is in africa or something. amelia is in school maybe. jesse is a computer animator of sorts i guess. hex and raditz post about how we don't post. everyone else is married or dead. anyways, sorry to get your hopes up with this post, but it's just me, josh. so what have you been up to? cheers |

That's a shame that everyone is gone, but I'm still happy they are here sort of. I imagine everyone posts now and then? If so that's cool, I can't think of any other website of such small size that has had a (semi)active message board, going on what 12 years now? I mean hell I think the world wide web (not the internet) is only like five years older than this board. That's cool.
Well it's nice to see you again Josh, as for me? Nothing really just working. Or rather looking for a new job, the recession got my last one. I really need a new computer so I can play FFXIV and UT3 ((though it looks like that game was DOA) but I still want to try it out). That and I'm really wanting to build a MAME cab, has anyone on here built one, I'd like to pick their brain if so. |

Uh yeah, I guess some people come around every once in a while, but when they do, there's no new posts, so nobody posts, then there's no new posts. I guess I come by to get some pageviews for the ads or something. In a way it's kinda like having your old school friends on facebook. They're there, and you know you can talk to them at any time, but you never do. It's just nice to know we didn't forget each other.
As for me, well, I'm hibernating from landscaping. Doesn't make sense for me to drive across town and help plow. Today I watched people dig cars out of the huge drifts of snow covering them from my balcony. A tow truck got stuck. It took it at least an hour for it to tow a car out. |

Ya, Josh has it right... this place never really made a transition to something we'd like to use beyond our teenage years. Honestly I could see it as a place to talk about things going on in our lives and tv shows and music and stuff but nothing really sticks. I still load it up now and then to see that no one has posted anything then I move along.
And ya... I'm good, I'm not in Africa right now but I'm working on a job application in Uganda right now. I'm just finishing school now though I'm soooo tired of being a student... i'm over it (though I appreciate all the hard time everyone's having in the work world). What's a MAME cab? (I'll let you google that for me) |

I did the Googling! It's probably one of these beasts:
I work in university administration... I do not have time for these idiots. |

I saw this post since day one, i didn't want to log in. I'm pretty sure mame is a arcade emulator or some kind've open source fighting engine or something. I know I've heard of it before, but I'm not going to google it and I take joy in no one being sure.

But a "MAME cab" - as was the initial question - would be an arcade cab[inet] for the housing of a MAME system.

I may not work in university administration.. but I don't have time for these idiots either! How many of these "Wow this place is still here", "Yep, nobody posts anymore" threads have piled up over the years? We ran out of things to talk about..
