i watched that a year ago with some friends, before the subtitles came out... we had a lot of fun making up our own plot to it (that was ultimatly a lot more sensical than the real plot).

http://imdb.com/title/tt0081748/). i'm a big fan of hunter s. thompson as well as bill murray. after watching this, i can see where a lot of depp's portrayal of thompson in fear and loathing came from. it's not as insane as fear and loathing, but i think it's just as good a film.
