Looking at every one of those icons evokes a different feeling.

NetZero.. :vomit:

Kingpin and Rainbow Six original... hell yes. Wish they wouldnt have upped the trigger finger 'itchy factor' twice over for each expansion pack, tho. Ding Chavez, this glass is for you! :downs red wine and a Xanax: May the heavy armor protect you for at least a few tangos. :bows kindly:

Rogue Squadron.. absolutely. Much better than the sequels revolving around Naboo. Blech.

SimCity 3000... why the bloody hell did your sequel suck balls?! 3K had so much going for it but 4?!? Man they killed the game but tacked on decent GFX and cheap minigames.

Diablo, SoF, Carmageddon, Quake I, UT, sweet.

Trying to get SS2 running on XP was a pain in the ass, tho... and anybody remember Win ME? Trying to game with a PC back in 2000 used to be a small chore.

johnny 03-17-2007 06:08 PM

gosh. i hate desktop icons...

GT2000 03-17-2007 08:56 PM

I like having them...organized that is.

Jesse 03-31-2007 01:52 AM

I prefer no icons, and no taskbar.

raublekick 03-31-2007 02:21 AM

jesse, your 1920x1200 resolution pleases me.

Artmead 03-31-2007 07:21 AM

I can't imagine looking at that picture whenever my screensaver flashes off.. blech!

edit. Wait, i just got it. It's actually a comedic picture because no band that takes itself seriously actually wears their own shirts! Wow, thats actually genius.

Liss 03-31-2007 09:22 AM

you might want to be careful about saying these things to jesse...

johnny 03-31-2007 11:44 AM

i'm sure jesse can handle it. besides, it's no secret that jesse has poor taste in music right? :D (just foolin' jesse. but seriously.. let me recommend you some better things to listen to!)

i sometimes go without any panels/taskbars but i always end up setting something up again. mainly because i can't find any clock dockapps that aren't shitty and ugly..

yeah the no-taskbar concept is pretty cool, but it just doesn't work for me. i always have so much crap running that anything on my desktop isn't usually seen unless i switch to another workspace or minimize windows.

Nope, it's a real band from Melbourne, Australia. They're dubbed as the heaviest band on the planet. Although, they don't wear the masks anymore, due to their restrictive breathing.

Edit: And the no taskbar, if I mouse over it, it slides up, so it's not too bad. My friend hides his taskbar and I thought it would annoy the piss out of me if I ever tried that. But I kinda dig it now.

raublekick 03-31-2007 12:55 PM

in windows you'd be pretty fucked without the taskbar. in xfce or openbox, not so much.

johnny 03-31-2007 12:57 PM

yea, with openbox your window list is just a middle-click away.. (same goes for xfce i think. can't recall)
