If you do a lot of highway driving, though, then you won't see any more of a difference than you would in a similarly classed car.
I used to drive a normal honda accord, and didn't get nearly as dependable mileage as I do with the hybrid. And hybrids are good for highway driving at the recommended speed of 65, but not 70-75, at which I've been travelling recently.

I should have clarified that I don't necessarily need to refill after two two-way trips (keep in mind that I'm not including all the driving I do in Richmond/Charlottesville in the 4-5 hour amount of time), it's just easier to refill at one of my destinations than somewhere along I64 in the Virginian country.

"Price Of Gas"

I've been driving, a mid sized car,
I never hurt anyone
Is that a fact?
The price of gas keeps on rising
Nothing comes for free
Make like a stone, make like a plant
I can tell you, how this ends

We're going to win this
With spades and truncheons, guns and trowels
That is how the war will be won
Just swat the fly
Taking care of cars and bodies
Nothing ever comes for me
The ghosts are here, red white and blue

I can tell you how this ends
We're going to win this

Yeah, gas prices are killin..so damn glad my car sits in the garage for most of the week, ever since we started taking our work vans home everynight, I've saved a ton on gas...which, i'm glad i don't have to pay the bill for the gas in those vans, i fill up every two days, $40 each time, and the new fords cost 2x as much for the same amount of time...
