PLEASE I am begging anyone who can help. i bought server space at a pricey amount it has php and mysql but i fucking suck at getting it to work. Basically i want something like PHP Nuke or Geeklog style of a set up but i can not get it working. if you have exp please let me know i can give you ftp access and access to make a database please help me out if you can AIM: Mox

i know some mysql, but i don't think you really need to know that stuff to get geeklog or phpnuke set up.

lemme do a little research on phpnuke (i looked through geeklog and it looked like a bitch to install)

php nuke seems simple enough as far as i can tell i am following the directions to a t just wont work though. i think im effin up the database some how.

yes i am. i used to get an error saying my mysql dataase was set up wrong when id try to access php files on the server. now they just show up blank.

if you follow the directions ... it's pretty easy. I'll set it up ... for a price. I realized in the last month or so that you can demand astronomical prices (like I'm being paid $175 to setup an invision board next week) for things, and people pay them willingly.

If you just want a blog / php-nuke site, you should go with a php-nuke hosting package. There's lots of hosts out there... google for them. And how much is 'pricey.' You could get what you're looking for for like $3/month from a lot of places.

im not looking to pay 175 to have phpnuke installed for me. just looking for any help from a willing friend... a friend i have looked up to since i was 16 a firend who had a pug i loved more than i loved myself a friend i like to call mikey.


i already have the server and database set up. i followed the instructions perfectly as far as i can tell it just a matter of, this is my first exp. with php so im probably making some n00b mistake.
