merry christmas ass fux!

i got my gf a ipod. got my sis some discontinued bath and body works thing off ebay. got my bro-in-law a white belt with black studs. got my little bro a best buy gift card. got my mom chocolate gift basket deal. lastly i got my 4yo nephew the first two harry potter movies. I wanted to get him into something else cuz it creeps me out a 4 year old can quote more lines of star wars than i.

as far as what i got, i only got gift cards and cash. i asked everyone for cash so i could go buy a guitar and sure enough i got my funding and ill be picking it up tomorrow.

its a Schecter Damien 6. I'm very excited! its a good guitar for some one on a budget. (for anyone whose curious http://www.schecterguitars.com/spec.asp?id=33)

My friend has a blue schecter like that. I think it has one pickup.

I got precision screwdrivers, a desk chair, and beyer dt770 pro/80 ohm, which were the studio headphones I wanted that were "discontinued", but are actually still manufactored exclusively for guitar center... and the guys at guitar center told my mother they didn't have them until she showed up and they were actually sitting right there on the shelf. Unfortunely I have to exchange them because they're too big to DJ with and I can't get one sided monitoring. Sick sounding though.

My dad loves his headphones and my mom likes her gifts. Food was good. Dogs got trimmings.

I got about a dozen books (excited about The DaVinci Code and The Point of Fracture and not terribly thrilled with the Bill O'Reilly for Kids! book from my grandmother), everything I could possibly use to make my own sushi (minus the fish), a hand-free can opener (from my loving brother and sister in law who understood that between my budget and my arm cast I would starve otherwise), a SWEET cd, a nice bottle of cabernet, and a bit of money, which has already gone towards paying off debt.

I'm so glad Christmas is over--it was so hectic this year. Only, now I have to move across the country.

I got $60 in cash, a couple t-shirts..one of those nascar dancing hamsters from my aunt and uncle (i always get novelty/joke gifts from them, it's cool), and my baby got me an awesome hour glass, a surfboard air freshener for the car, some assorted chocolates that can't be had here, and a mini calendar in russian/euro format that took me a minute to figure out how to read...

I got this a couple days prior to X-mas, wasn't looking to spend as much as I did, however, had everything I wanted, and awesome picture quality..

Yeah so I hope everyone had a great little Christmas.

I got Money, mainly. About $300 I need to figure out what to do with. Got 4th season of The Sopranos, a few games, Star Wars Trivial Persuit (I'm a nerd, ok), few DVDs, Green Days "Bullet in a Bible" live DVD/CD (awesome!), bunch of other junk. I just really need to spend that money...my pocket is on fire.

Got my girl an ipod shuffle and some other girly stuff, she was happy...so it was a good day. Got my dad a reciprocating saw, which he was pretty happy about.

I guess I'm done typing now

Wipeout Pure is tight. The only PSP game I played until my brother took off with it.

oh, and a full goddamn scholarship to FDU that will eventually result in me gettin a brand spankin new car from my parents because that was the deal. :-D

yup. this christmas was not so bad. besides the whole getting scarlet fever and sleeping 15 hours a day and not being able to eat or breathe, but ya know. that goes away with enough antibiotics

my holiday was pretty darn fun. my dad gave me a banjo, which was totally 100% unexpected. it's going to be more difficult to learn than guitar was, but it's pretty fun so far so i'm up for the challenge. and my mum got me a harmonica! definitely a musical christmas.

another highlight was getting really drunk with neil and another friend of mine, matt, who is living out in alberta these days so we only get to hang out once or twice a y'ar. i don't think neil got nearly as drunk as matt and i did though, because matt and i seem have to some sort of affect on each other and when we hang out we both get really loaded

A banjo sounds really awesome. I've been digging banjos for awhile now. If you get the hang of it, you should definitely upload some recordings.
