Your plans for the 4th? (AMERIcunts ONLY!)

It would appear as though the 4th day of the 7th month has finally made its way around again. Have you any super plans in store?

As for me, I might be going to the coast with my girlfriend for the day, not entirely sure yet. Either way, later in the afternoon, say around 5 or 6. My friends and I are having our big annual 4th of July tailgate party. It's always a lot of fun. We head to a parking lot, and bring down a grill, bunch of coolers full of food and drinks, play some poker, listen to some tunes, and then when the time comes, we watch the fireworks display.

Does anybody else absolutely hate summer?

Go to my grandparents for a good breakfast, sit around there all day and jam out some guitar, then go to work.

Independance Day used to be the biggest holiday in my family, and now it's wasted away to almost nothing :\

luckily i only have to do that until 5:30. Then I am drinking, but not too much because i work again the following morning and damn, i've already gone into work hungover twice this week. since I live in such a busy tourist town, its not even worth it as a local to try to get to the fireworks shows on the beach. we'll grill out and play volleyball in the backyard.

The "Funk" family is comming over to have yet another Clam bake/ Low country boil(If you have never had one you are totally missing out). We have had two so far this week one for my dad's side, one for my mother's side the two sides dont mix well at all. Then I think the whole clan(mom's side that is) is going to watch the new Superman movie, after which fireworks* and then massive amounts of drink by me. No work for me unless I want to escape my family and pretend to be "called in", or I might go into to work just so I can fit in with all my Test Tubey brethren.

*Fireworks could be before, during, and after drinking.

Well, dunno about first part of the day, but then me and a friend are going to meet up and go to my aunt and uncles with the rest of my local family and cook/drink/blow shit up, its an on and off tradition over the years..mainly the blowing shit up part.
