Video games, acceptable entertainment or trash?

I can't wait for the day when all these articles on video games violence disappear. This one is more of the same usual crap, but does make one really good point.

"Like rock and roll in the 1950s, games have been accepted by the young and largely rejected by the old. Once the young are old, and the old are dead, games will be regarded as just another medium and the debate will have moved on."

Which is true with most things, once the youth of today becomes the elders of tomorrow, we'll be bitching about things far worse than games I'm sure, like, trying to get tomorrow's youth to put down the nuclear simulators and pick up something like a classic copy of DOOM, or Madden '50.

porn has always been under fire for obvious reasons. i love porn on so many levels.

there's the really sexy stuff that isn't too revealing; then there's the girls who aren't super hot models or anything but are super attractive (this is what i really dig); and then there's stuff like See Her Squirt, Milf Hunter, and Cap'n Stabbin' which doesn't get my jollies off but is hilarious.
