i was reading an article a few days ago about one of microsoft's next projects:

"If Microsoft Corp. has its way, consumers will soon be ditching their trendy iPods for a digital music player called a Zune.
The world's largest software company confirmed Friday it plans to launch a line of music and entertainment products called ”Zune.” The first product will be a portable music player and digital music service that will rival Apple Computer Inc.'s wildly popular iPod music player and iTunes digital jukebox." (copied from an article in the globe and mail)

i wonder how this will turn out? by the way, i think the official zune site is http://www.comingzune.com/, but i'm not sure. the flash isn't displaying properly for me.
