i like that we're not using xmb anymore. even though parts of phpbb seem to be designed pretty poorly, this is a good change because i didn't really like that xmb.

some things that could be nice:

:arrow: let users change their usernames whenever they want

ops: (there must be a setting to hook that up)

:arrow: turn on the html! at least in our signatures.

:arrow: rename this forum to something like "EVERYTHING!" and don't add any others, except the good-evil forum if those guys want that again

:arrow: this arrow is a handy-dandy emoticon

:arrow: add some pretty colour schemes

yeah, this is on my friend's phpBB. it might get annoying if people abuse it.

i think one big crazy forum could make for lots of funny.
also, everyone should be the moderator. well, not new people.. but most people: neil, donnie, sharkzzzzz, creeper, stormy, liss, justin, colin, rabububle, master, wonko, mike, metallistar if he's gonna post, rad, jep, cid, hex, jesse, noctem, and anyone else that i forgot who posts here sometimes and they aren't jerks

also!

if i could be admin for a day, i'd make a supercool (not ugly) colour scheme for this place. it would be very pretty.. similar to the old ttt style, but more bright probably. i can't remember the old colours, exactly.

Everybody modding: Stupid. Just stupid. What's the point if everybody that goes here is a moderator? It's not like the site gets visits from people who aren't on that list; or atleast, recurring visits. I'd say no moderators. Why bother modding anything? It's not like we're going to *say anything out of line* or something stupid. Just have an admin or two to do themes, forums, and maintainance... there's no use otherwise.

Also, why wasn't I higher on the list of "old timers." I'm as old as they come.

Because everybody wants their forum to be the exact same. XMB forum had more original hacks than any other forum software available. It just took work to integrate it into your website ... Considering that mine just inexplicably went down ... I'd know what that's like ...

the everyone being a moderator thing would be so we could all edit each other's posts. just for fun.

i'm aware that it's a bad idea, especially for the people who still want to take this place seriously, but it'd be funny for a few days.
