just finished watching the first episode of this new episode on fox, and i have to say that i'm more than a little underwhelmed. i had high hopes for this series, since it involved people who worked on things that i really liked (x-files, firefly, etc.), but as of right now it seems to be a pretty lame and predictable crime show with cringe-worthy acting and some bad, bad writing.

anyone else catch this?

i caught the last two or three minutes of some show earlier, and it turns out it was the inside. some guy got shot in a subway station (after he was trying to take some chick with him off the subway train??) and then it was over, so i don't really know what was going on. but during that little scene the acting and writing seemed cheezy.
