I'm so making one of these

Old news or not, this looks not only pretty awesome but also fairly cheap. Should be a fun project for the bored looking for something to do.

And then make it into a profitable killing machine.

I realize its slightly different method, but isnt this the same as a rail gun?
if thats truely exponential speed growth, imagine what 27 of those little beauties could do...
