The interesting finds of IMDB.com
Went on there to look up Rob Zombie, was just wondering what else he had worked on...
Well, he was the production assistant for Pee-wee's Playhouse...yep. Then I was looking on the page for that, and noticed Laurence Fishburne played Cowboy Curtis on that show... http://imdb.com/title/tt0090500/fullcredits Damn, funny shit there...makes me want to look up other people just to find things that you'd a never thought they did in their early/later careers.

I just found a few pics of "Cowboy Curtis"
Laurence Fishburne c. 1986...omfg you'd never see him with that goofy grin nowdays. Won't even be able to see him as the gung-ho Morpheous or the killer in Assault on Precinct 13 anymore...just as this Cowboy with a dumbass look on his face... http://mouser.org/log/archives/2001/06/000111.html

Pee Wee is really quite good for those times when you need a good old chuckle. So it's always on my shelf along with my other cheesy comedy.

Wow....
Now I don't feel so bad about being 22 and getting carded for smokes and shit sometimes. I went to the theater to see the Devil's Rejects the other night..and, the dude asked me if I had any ID or Military card, I thought he was asking if I had anything to get me a discount...I was like, no.. Then he asked me if I had anything with my date of birth. Me, "What the FUCK did you say?" Cop standing 10 feet away, "*glaring look*" Kid, "I said, do you have anything with your DOB?" Me, "Seriously, what the fuck is your problem...I've got to be at least 7 years older than your stupid ass!" ..as I slammed my open wallet into the window. I swear that pig followed me around after that, thinkin' I was a threat or somethin, heh.

die.
pee wee's playhouse is filled with so much awesome shit. from Opal, Elvis, and Cher and their friend Rusty (played by the old dude in those early 90's sprint commercials or something) to Dirty Dog, Cool Cat, Chicky Baby... and who can forget when Pee Wee discovered Floory!? and what about when Roger the one-eyed monster came and everyone thought he was scary, but he turned out to be a cool dude? |
