face the truth is the only other sm album i've heard entirely, and it was pretty good too (a few of my friends who didn't like his earlier solo albums actually really liked
face the truth, so it might be worth a download).
i hadn't heard about mark ibold playing with sonic youth either. the sonic youth catalogue is a mixed bag for me, pretty hit and miss. but that's neat that he's playing in such a high-profile group.
