actually, the first (legitimate) SH game is technically Alone in the Dark, though it's kinda cheesy and unfrightening at this point (there are somethings that might make you jump because they pop out of nowhere, but as far as being atmospherically creepy, nope)

three clock tower games came out in the U.S. 1 and 2 for PSX and 3 for PS2... is there one that came before the original for PSX that only released in Japan?
