Which? I've not read an entire book, but I perused a few of his poetry collections back in 2nd year, and have a copy of
Transbluesency.
And I wouldn't classify Baraka as "angry black man poetry." He certainly can be an angry black man, and he certainly voices a strong dissatisfaction with race in the US, but he also discusses a number of matters which are relevant to more than just the black community, including the aforementioned racial/political/cultural dissatisfactions. It's disheartening when people grapevine an issue because they're the concerns of an angry black man.
