Colin and I talked about this yesterday..and since playing the game for maybe an hour or two more since then...if you liked the hack and slash of D2...then this game will be fun for ya.. Pretty simple to get started, and I actually like running out of the town into my own instance of the zone, if you're going on a quest run that you'll require help on, instead of having to find a party of PCs to go with ya, you can add NPC henchmen to your party and then zone out of the town. The only crappy (not too bad though) part about this is even with nothing but 4 NPCs in your 5 man party, a gold drop of let's say 25, will be split 5-way...so you end up with 5, and then 20 gets dropped onto these NPCs, never to be seen again...

Actually, I wonder if the lowly dev-team is making money on the side from that..I'd just program all the gold that gets looted by NPCs to drop into a side account, and then sell it online on one of those MMO gold/account selling sites...those bastards.

But yeah, fun game, and no monthly fee, Diablo with an MMO twist.
