E3 has been quite an event.
The
PS3 was revealed yesterday with an amazing
Killzone 2 demo. I'm officially impressed now. Hopefully the games can back up the power of this beast. Although, I will say, I don't think they could have picked a more unappealing look for the console. It looks like
refrigerator.
Also revealed today was the
Nintendo Revolution, though nothing specific was shown other than its
design. The system looks pretty sleek and is quite a step forward, offering online finally. "Its most significant contribution to online gaming will be the ability to download Nintendo's entire catalog of NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64 console games." Pretty awesome, hopefully the games will also be playable online, a la zSNES.
And finally, there's a new version of the Game Boy Advance coming, called the Game Boy Micro. I am not sure why they need 3 versions of the same system. Hopefully it will offer something new as well.
