i had a job interview for a gifted english teaching position. i think i answered most of the questions well, given that i've never taught english before in my life, though i did pretty much have no idea how to answer any questions about discipline

[edit] didn't get the job. they liked my enthusiasm and energy, but didn't like my complete lack of experience. alas... i'm going to interview with a middle school today or tomorrow and if that doesn't pan out, i'm pretty much guaranteed a job at another high school, though it's teaching remedial classes *shudder*
