it appears my two best options are EA Sports' MVP Baseball 2005 and 2K Sports' MLB 2K5. i haven't played either of them, and i'm much too lazy to rent and compare, or even read proper reviews about them and compare, so i'm wondering if any of you have played either of these games? what are your opinions of them?
from my previous experience with EA vs the ESPN games (hockey games
), the ESPN games blew the EA games out of the water. another bonus is that MLB 2K5 will probably be a bunch cheaper than MVP Baseball 2005, because.. well.. just because the ESPN sports games are cheaper, eh.
