I had a nice birthday, thanks. Spent it doing my first out-of-UK traveling. My boyfriend managed to find some really good deals to get us to Berlin for about four days. It was really laid back and easy, which made it one of the best trips I've had in awhile; all the shit about the city I had to read when I was taking German finally paid off, too.
