I like how it basically projects that all of the mississippi, louisianna, alabama, and florida gulf coasts will be hit.

ugh, no no no... all the cone means is that the hurrican can hit anywhere within that span of area; so basically it's telling you nothing because pretty much every hurricane hits in a handful of "areas", i.e. the gulf.

it does not mean the hurricane is going to be that big by the time it hits shore... that would be insane.

ernesto is up north now i guess? it's been raining all day long. not particularely heavy rain, but it basically hasn't stopped for ~10 hours.

Me and Zell should have been on that map too, Donnie. :)
But anyhow, PA got an assload of rain, although it may have seemed like even more considering I was en route to Maryland for most of yesterday.

i was in rhode island all last week, and somehow, i pretty much missed it completely and got sunny weather, despite 70-90% chances of heavy showers on friday-sunday. huzzah for beating the odds!
