check out something like Play for influence on what a magazine should look like... i'd point you to GMR, but they are defunct.

the graphics are good enough, but one thing i noticed that hurt it a bit was the font used in your 'article'...tips it off as a fake right away.

a more common newsprint/magazine font would have covered it much better.

still looks pretty convincing for a metal mag though. good job.
