You think he's really dead? It hasn't been listed on any real news site yet. So far it's only been mentioned on the Howard Stern show, and when I googled it, no reputable news sites came up. And this site http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/entertainment/ says he died on Wednesday. Now if he died 2 days ago, wouldn't there be a bit more about it?

Faking his death for an April Fool's joke really seems like something he'd do.
