whats your portion of the ttt family tree?
 

i had an idea for a thread along time ago i never quite got around to doing it but it might be cool for the new site.

the idea is a family tree. like who were the founding fathers of thetesttube from dexcussion and who did they bring aboard to grow the family. if everyone would post if they stumbled accross the board or if someone had them join and the date they joined the group. also post if you knew anybody that you got to join the group at some point. even if some people dont post anymore lput there name anyway. we could then make a visual family tree.

i joined the gameshark board mid-late 99. i got invited to a chat from mike(rebel10) on aim with jake(vgm) and face. they directed me to deskussion.com. a while later i got brando to join(zfrieza, raditz, rad)

so my portion of the tree would be something like

rebel10 - vgm - face

im not sure on the dates the others joined the group so thats up to them. if everyone posted this i think itd be cool to have a full family tree. after we get a full tree we could make a little html and link all the names to profiles.

this kinda fits in with "Dex/Deks/TheTestTube History" so creep feel free to take creative control of this if you want to.

But I lurked around Dex from like it's conception, until I finally registered Aug 4, 1999. And in the short month and a half I posted before it was gone, I was senior member material.

I joined the Dexcussion boards in 1999 sometime.

And a very long time ago, a friend of mine signed up and posted a bit. But, he didn't stick around too long. He'd leave for months, come back, post some stupid shit, then disappear again. I don't remember what name he used though.

how about if no one invited you, you tell where you heard about the board at the time via search engine or what not. that way we can organize the bastard children

I read about it on the side of a box. A Dex Drive box. So I guess the box invited me.

I had a friend come to the the Dex board, his name was Mathera on the board I believe, he stayed for like a day...posted about the Simpsons and left...odd

I was on since the December of the beginning year, when I got a DexDrive... Nobody got me on... and I got a few people who left shortly there after.

I did however run my own forum for a little while where a few Dex faithfuls intermixed with friends of mine and other forum goers from like forums. (Daze, WCA, MastaPimp, some others)
