Quake Live
 

If you haven't heard about it yet, there's a new Quake on the block:

It uses the old Quake 3 engine, and runs from the website. Takes minutes to install and is very fun. It's not a high-end graphic game, but runs very smooth. Still in beta, so the site may be down from time to time. They do keep updates on Twitter.

Yeah I got an email when the beta finally started, seems like a good idea, quake 3 in your browser, runs nice and smooth in fullscreen. Next time I'm on it I'll add ya, I forget what I used as my username.

Been playing it for about a week now. Never thought I'd see Quake 3 running from a browser. So much fun.

fetuscakemix is my name on there, add me if you want. I usually just play Instagib, but sometimes I go into FFA.

Apparently I never completed the 10 minute test run fully before so I can't have "full access to the site". Will do that sometime.

Oh yeah, miss good ol' UT1 too... UT2k3/4 was good also, have had 3 since release but didn't get into it, anyone else have it? I do have 2k4 installed too, tried to install original UT but couldn't get it to work on vista x64... have an xp install on here if anyone else has it setup still.

I still have my UT2k3 and 2k4 games. I'll get those isntalled.
