This brings back some memories...

Well, barely:

http://www.dexdrive.de/main.html

I'm in a quest to figure out what my regular, original screen name was on AIM. I've been on JimiVibes since late in my Freshman year of High School (I'm now a senior in college), but ... early that year, I registered one and used it a lot, and then switched around a bit and I'm trying to figure out what my original one was... so I've been pulling up old sites I went to try to find it registered.

But anyway, I found that.

This was the oldest thing I could find of mine on the internet:

JAn 15th, 1999:

Quote:

Dear Craig, I would like to know if the new PSX game, Street Sk8ter, is going to have real boarders.? I would also like to know if a new preview of 3Xtreme is going to be posted? The game had some sweet graphics last time I saw on your web-site. Oh yeah, do you know if the Upright Citizens Brigade was taken off of the air? Nobody believes me that UCB is the funniest show on TV, next to the Simpsons. Oh well, until we meet again.

There's no 't' in 'Sk8er." It's Street Sk8er...and nope, no real boarders. We'll preview 3Xtreme as soon as 989 Studios gets us a version (or at the very least, screenshots). And Upright Citizens Brigade? What an unfunny show. I've got a whacked-out sense of humor, but I never laughed ONCE when I saw that show. Terrible.

well i'm glad it lasted in europe...

thecreeper 02-09-2006 11:58 PM

man, fuck craig harris. UCB is fucking hilarious.

I'm pissed... I can't find anything before 1999.

I even Archive.orged the old Dexchange pages to no avail. I did find my old forums though... the "UGN" ... and some others, "PissuOffs Place," and some other shit forums.

http://web.archive.org/web/200008181...net/index.html

That's the oldest working Dexchange site, but it's post-merger with Gameshark... When Me and Tristan were modding. Looking at some of those names though.. Savior, Doug, Dullman, CodeBoy, bring back some memories... I sometimes wonder what Father is up to these days. The guy is probably either dead or like 35 years old.

raublekick 02-10-2006 12:32 AM

Mike, why didn't you tell me you were a fan of UCB?

Mike 02-10-2006 12:33 AM

That was 1999 RaubleKick. Seven years ago. I was 14!

Man all of your websites suck.

squirrels2nuts 03-13-2006 02:03 AM

guess what?

nostalgia sucks

but i think i have some archived dexdive shit somewhere in 1's and 0's. ill look for it so you bastards can remember what we were like years ago.

Torre82 03-13-2006 11:49 PM

I saved all of the Dexchange 2.0 files. Original Terlit-Talk, some Ghard fighting, etc.

A'course... its on one of like 400 discs that may or may not have made it thru the dozen moves I've made since 00ish.

Jesse 03-16-2006 11:23 PM

I think Justin has quite a bit of stuff saved.

I don't know why I didn't ever save anything.

Probably because I'm a fucking moron.

Torre82 03-17-2006 01:18 AM

That used to be my guess back in the day.. remember all those clips you made of 'Brad'?

'spearing' you?

And then you sent me like six.

And I havent IM'ed you ever since. A'course I barely IM'ed anyone cept Demi, Azuh and various boobied peopl.. but still. Thats like 8 years and we've never spoke. It could be worse..

Like working at a library and watching TV. ~ SE7EN
