yay for random bs thread!

so last week, against all odds, my computer ran Doom3....smoothly. I couldn't believe it, this computer has no business running that game. 1.6 ghz processor, 64mb GeForce2 video card, and 512mb ram really shouldn't run this demo as well as it does.

also, somehow i missed both my brother and my dad's birthday and didn't realize it till today, a full week late. i feel like an ass.

i got a $50 gift cheque at work tonight, i have no clue why, but i'll take it :D

Today I put in my 2 weeks notice for my day job, and discussed the same with the manager for my cooking job.

Interestingly, neither job seem like such a bad one to have now that I know I'm leaving (one of them at least). I probably won't leave my cooking job too soon, even though I think I might like to.

Sucks about the birthdays. I couldn't tell you exactly the dates of any of my familys birthdays anyway. lol

right now was the first time that i saw the other forum style with the images that creeper made (i'm at school so i wasn't logged in, eh). i think those grey parts at the tops of the tables needs to go.

(edit: it's actually more of a grey-to-black gradient, i guess. in any case, i don't think it fits)
