I have determined through science that Europe has perfected the art of song in their classic hit "The Final Countdown."

Me and my friedn Rob hum that song all the time, it's such a great pump-up cheese song. They used it in a commercial for a dog show last week, I was laughing my ass off at it. You're song isn't epic enough for something like the Super Bowl, but it suits a dog show just fine.

BEST

EVER!

its tycho's band from penny arcade, you cant find their stuff anymore online, but I have some hoarded on my PC if you want it, or someone give me 40 some megs of space to upload to and I'll share it. Since the band seems to be non existant at the moment, I dont think its copyright infringement or whatnot.

this new Mars Volta is getting better and better the more i listen to it. still not as good as De-loused, but some awesome stuff throughout. the John Frusciante and Flea appearences are awesome, Frusciante has two hott solos in L' via L' Viaquez, and Flea has trumpet solos in The Widow and Miranda That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore. who knew that Flea was a trumpeter? not me...

just bought it today. i have to say the good parts are amazing, but there's so much dead space on the album full of just random ambience...it makes it hard to sit through the full thing without fastforwarding once and awhile.

and the track listing makes no sense at all.

yeah i totally agree, but the good parts are way better than anything in de-loused, even the dual spacey solos in Citracez E.S.P aren't as good as as the stuff on here. i think i like it a lot more, but i'm in the minority there. omars guitar playing on this is improved immensly, he's got psychadellic chops.
