my desktop's just a cluttered mess of files and folders (75 to be exact) on a windows XP OS.

nothing too spectacular

MurrinaGraphite GTK (looking for something darker, but not completely black, tried MurrinaY, loved the roundness, too dark though (maybe i should just edit the theme myself...(maybe i should get back to the post)))
Silicon Metacity (looking for something better, haven't really looked hard though)
Tango icons (need to get some darker ones)

background is from the Cassini contest

it is. default options. not entirely sold on it, but i like it better than having a whole panel dedicated to the bottom part of the screen, and with my resolution i can afford the space usage.

johnny 04-26-2007 06:04 PM

you need to get some better icons, is all..

raublekick 04-26-2007 07:16 PM

yeah the firefox one is hideous. if you right click on the icons there is an option to change them, but nothing happens. i guess i should run awn from the terminal and see what's up.

that reveals nothing... oh well

johnny 04-27-2007 05:44 PM

i like engage better (dreamlinux implements it very nicely) but you'd have to install a bunch of e17 shit, and even then you'd have quite a bit of configuration to do.

johnny 04-28-2007 09:44 AM

still haven't made up my mind but this is how it looks today...
