http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/ca.../pia07966.html

pretty damn cool.

Plain Old Jane 08-18-2005 01:44 PM

those radio emmisions are slowed down and the frequency brought down to human hearing frequency. (20-20,000 hz) But creepy all the same

Currently listening to:

Dressy Bessy - "Just like Henry" AND "If you should try to kiss her"

The Jesus and Mary Chain - "Just like Honey"

Who knew soundtracks could be so tasty? Anyone?

thecreeper 08-22-2005 01:22 AM

ahh....hohman returns, if only for one post.

Eagles of Death Metal, at a very low volume.

Optimus Funk 08-22-2005 06:53 AM

Make that two posts now!

I take extreme offense to that comment as well, therefore I am now listening to...
Rage Against the Machine, at ear bleed volume level!

johnny 08-22-2005 04:03 PM

i blame thecreeper

testtubebaby 08-22-2005 04:50 PM

great movie (one of my favorites ever) and great soundtrack... i'm a big fan of the songs by peaches and phoenix.

what is it about that movie that makes it so amazing to watch over and over? i thought garden state would be the same way when i first saw it, but upon subsiquent viewings, the bottom fell out. nothing else comes close! not even murray's new one broken flowers, even though it is quite good...

johnny 08-22-2005 06:06 PM

yea, i'm not sure, but i've watched it quite a few times, and it's still great. and it doesn't get a little bit worse each time, either. always good.
ah, brack toe..

that phoenix tune is great. "too young"? i haven't listened to the soundtrack in quite some time, come to think of it. and for whatever reason, i really really like the death in vegas song. it's just one little thing, over and over again, but the build up is just really good. ::shrug::

sharkz 08-24-2005 03:00 AM

beck - rollins power sauce

Optimus Funk 08-24-2005 11:58 PM

Are you serious? that guy took my movie, I didnt listen to a word he said cause he wasnt attractive, and or very educated at all! I heard him say something about returning something the next day but he just vanished or something. Cock-bending ass clown of later day saints!, I shall add his soul to my growing collection of worthiless humans that I have in my spleen! Oh yeah there is aparty at my house on friday, a sparks party no less, with crabs and not the genital kind so yes zach, creeper sorrry, your invited but without your special friends! ;)

Now that I have sobered up a tad, I remember why I dont remember him taking it, Miller Genuine Draft. I totally forgot we drank that night, creeper :S Your mind really starts to go once you hit 21, huh? R.I.P. Lost In Translation DVD (widescreen special edition)

thecreeper 09-12-2005 09:38 PM

i'm the one who introduced him to it, sam :)

you should listen to mike doughty's solo stuff if you dont already. even though raub is too high and mighty to appreciate him or soul coughing. jerk.

Optimus Funk 09-13-2005 09:26 PM

I have to agree, thecreeper taught me all I know about Soul Coughing and many other great bands, but still I hold every right to post that song, I love them as much as any man can! ;)
