I was laying in bed last night thinking of all the internet whack jobs I've come across and after about 20 minutes of trying to remember this character I came up with his name! Who remembers this guy?! Lets get some internet detectives to dig him up and see what he's doing nowadays...

His name comes to mind from time to time.

Haha, yea, it was Stinson's. I forget what site it was on though.

It was on a bulletin board hackers forum, and he was a bigwig there so there was a page with the 'executives' profiles or something, with pics... i was perusing and found it... then started to laugh, as i knew that was stinson.
no, i don't remember him

Yep that's his! I'm kinda proud of him...graduated from Boston University too!
Har! Fuckin' Gary Hard! How I miss the days. Man, when you have a fucked up last name, it's best to keep it under wraps. And then with first initial like "G" he just HAD to be Gary...nothing else fit!
What a fucking tool.

Remember when he went a bit too far and sent me that fake letter from a "lawyer", heh... and then remember when I brought it back up again and posted a scan of that letter? And he just so happened to register and post that day or something?
Heee-fucking-larious.
i remember him well. it seems like atleast once a year some one asks if anyone else remember him.
Stormy
11-17-2006, 11:48 PM
Holy shit, he's getting a B.A. in psychology at Boston University. I could've gone there. I... could've had classes with him.
Here's to UVa. But...
instructional competencies and research interests
* Neuropsychology; Neuroscience; Psychopharmacology
* Psychopathology; Learning Theory; Memory Systems
Those are MY interests. Years from now I could run into him at a conference and never know it.

Someone posted about Metal Gear Solid (I think was the game), and "shooting all the ghards".
Ah, the good ol days.
Yeah, he went to BU, that's pretty good. Guy was still a fucking tard, and he did major in Psychology, but BU is a good school. We live like an hour from one another.... I could visit him ... but it'd probably not be worth it.
Oh, no, please do it, and videotape the entire experience.

only if it ends with him getting smacked in the face and you call him gary the whole time.
Well, he threatened to sue us for posting his address on the internet ... so I'd be afraid that if I approached him, and even if I bought him like a T-Bone Steak, he'd try to sue me for that.

I just read this post for the first time, thinking it was just some old reunion crap that I wouldn't know about, but damn! This is funny shit! I cackled my whole read through! I mean did you read his website?
"I was bored at work today and decided to play around with the colors a bit. A lot. Nothing like what it was before - a classy and elegant blue, now a firey orange-red-brown motif.
Opinions?"
I have an opinion, I think the FIREY ORANGE-RED-BROWN MOTIF is a bit to spicey for this guy, he should've stay with the classy and elegant blue. No screw that!, go for droolishly boring, monochromatic grey scale! Either that or get a life! Burned!.......Now back to leveling up my Broke Ass Evil Time Mage, Fou de Gra! ;)

You people amuse me. Honest to god, please get over it. It was a long time ago, and I'm hoping some of us have matured since then.
Nonetheless, I do apologize for everything I once did. I do feel bad about it, and think I've grown a bit since then.
But get the fuck over it already.
Oh, no, PLEASE call me Gary. It doesn't concern me. What does concern me is that I am still a "tool" for things that happened years ago.
Stormy: Don't worry. When at conferences I tend to sit quietly, not committing mass murder to people I met online several years prior. Enjoy your conferences without concern over my presence.
hex: Not a fan of gray, but thanks.
Plain Old Jane: I have no idea who you are. I probably don't care.
Mike: Naw. I may have hacked a website when I was younger, but I don't sue people for buying me food. Unless they poison the food.
Have fun, guys. Make a new years resolution to grow a bit as people and stop dwelling on my past idiocies.

TTT never has, and never will, harbor any mature posters.
Aw, cmon, ghard...this is a toast to old times, not dwelling on the negative. It's reflection, not grudge. Especially for those of us who are growing old with this board and remember, fondly, the good old days of deks (or dex) and still maintain strong friendships on this site, nothing more of us can be expected of us than to conjure up people from the past. We do it frequently. We have posted similar subjects on oh, say, VGM, bagomajik, raditz, zell, etc. I myself have had a post quite like this one in my name, back during hurricane katrina. And I enjoyed knowing that people were thinking of me when I stumbled upon it. I personally hope that you do recheck this topic and note this: I resent your plea for us to "mature" and move on, because, as I am sure many others would point out had they been the first to come upon your comment, you obviously have not grown "a bit as a person and stopped dwelling on your past idiocies" as you are still checking ttt for updates. And you know what? That's fine! This was a part of your life, albeit a small part, just as, in some little way, you impacted this board and those that belonged to it years ago. And who the fuck cares anymore anyway? My advice for YOU for new years? Quit thinking everyone is out to get you! There were a lot of people on this board once upon a time that tried to be friendly to you, including me, and you remained bitter to anyone associated. So, damn, get over it.
TTT never has, and never will, harbor any mature posters.
that too.

12-30-2006, 02:13 PM
Ah, Liss, alas you are right. I suppose my plea for maturity is misplaced when I , too, am dwelling on the past.
As usual, Liss, you make a good point. Several good points, actually. Even though I masked my apology with snide remarks, it still remains sincere; my concern is simply that my past missteps made such a negative impact that you are still talking about them many years later.

I wasn't... overly concerned. But thanks for the reassurance of my life.
Liss sums up the situation eloquently. No one is throwing barbs at you. :)
as you are still checking ttt for updates.
Technically, his site could've gotten hits from TTT and he investigated out of curiosity.

Liss, I'm going forward under the assumption that you meant "Fucking Jonah" and not "Fucking Johah".
If you love "Fucking Jonah" so much...why don't you come to Ohio and do it already!?

The point was we were playfully bashing someone he used to be, and we can all bash the people we used to be. I think it's safe to say we've grown up, and are (significantly?) better for it.
...
And you graduated from college?
GregHard
02-03-2007, 01:33 AM
Mike: No. I have yet to graduate. I still have a few semesters to go. And I don't see what three sequential dots have to do with that. On the internet, I use them to indicate delays in responses or thoughts in general, something better left to speech rather than type. I'm also not at BU anymore; I transferred some time ago and never updated the online page.
As to where I am, Stormy, I'm over here: ------->
Somewhere around the polar ice caps. It's warmer here than I was expecting.
In case any of you were wondering, when I was here previously, the age I gave you was inaccurate. If it was correct, I would be much older than I currently am and have graduated 1.333...3333 times by now. I think. Someone else can do the math.
And yes, my last name IS funny. Even funnier when you make my first name rhyme with "very", although I do consider that a compliment. (Are you listening, Liss and Stormy?)
I love you all.
although I do consider that a compliment. (Are you listening, Liss and Stormy?)
Yes. I'm glad your back. This thread makes me smile. Oh, nostalgia, nostalgia, nostalgia.

my god, i feel it, i feel maturity. I feel it finally. I'm feeling like i dont have to prove myself to anyone. people can just walk all over me, and i dont care. this is great, finally i can be boring and bland! yay. its so wonderful to be a neutered spineless wimp who would never in a million years make a judgement so crude as someone may not mature with age.
[/sarcasm]
(My old name was Jeperel btw.)
of course ghard, i do try not to make assumptions about people, i was simply pandering to my own ego to make myself feel better. I dont see anything inherently wrong with this, but i do take back my previous statement, as here you are (and i hadnt planned on speaking with you again) and i do believe you.
But back to the maturity thing, I understand. You werent trying to be a jerk, you just wanted to fit in and be cool. Its all good bra'.
(but im interested in discussing this maturity thing in more detail. Since when is it a sign of maturity to let things slide? is that a tool of more successful people to keep walking over the passive people? After all, good things come to those who wait, but better things come to those who refuse to wait. If such is the case, i'd rather be a jerk. I should tell you about my battles with Rutgers housing, its HILARIOUS.)

It's a sign of maturity to pick your battles, Jep, to be aware of your emotional and mental resources and their capabilities. It's like flying a fighter jet; after awhile you become aware of what it can or cannot do, without limiting your curiosities as a pilot in stretching your limits.

Well that was certainly interesting. Mostly cause I was never fully integrated with all yall but I went to Deks, CP, Liquid Nation and probably some other places with some of you people. This is incredibly bizarre.
Why did you lie about your age? I was 14 and didn't lie about my age (oh dear god I'm about to turn 22).
