Theme: Ok, this is a total cop out, I know. But I created this competition with the idea to hear music that was not video game covers, and I just want to hear some interesting covers. It can be a tv jingle, game show theme, Stairway to Heaven, the theme from 7th Heaven, whatever as long as it isn't from a video game. I personally would like to hear some covers of artists here in the OMC community, since it has been done before, and it was awesome (http://www.housethegrate.com/?id=news&story=22).
One requirement will be that you send me the original song you are covering along with the cover. The original song will be posted for comparison's sake during the competition and deleted after the results are posted. The winner of this competition will be allowed to pick the theme for the next competition, barring acceptance from the second and third place finishers (and approval from me). This isn't going to be a permanent thing, we'll just see how it works. The only requirement for the next theme is that it has to involve actual original music.
