AIM Express.

Depending on one of two things.. First.. are you running off an actual network with in-house security, etc etc..

or are you just working at a smaller place that probably has a cable/DSL at a higher-than-normal speed? (I swear so few businesses actually order the business package)

Alrighty! If its the first one, find out the AIM ports you need.. as far as I know, direct connect or the entire AIM program uses 5190. Then get your IT department... or.. *you* to unblock that port.

Second one, login to whichever device is directly above you. If its a router, find out which company makes it and find out the default password. usually a combation of either nothing, admin, or password for DLink, Linksys, Belkin, Netgear, 2Wire routers. (Dont quote me on that.) If its even locked at all. Login to that, and .. if you're lazy put it into DMZ free mode (allow all traffic in/out) if you want a security risk, or allow only the specified ports. THEN! If it uses a GUI, do the equivalent of a netstat/ipconfig and find out what the modem ABOVE that uses as a 'gateway' IP. Login to that using either a web browser if its a GUI, or telnet...

This is actually a whole lot less complicated than it sounds.

Basically you're allowing, adding, or editing port forwarding/unblocking.

OH! Or if its an option in AIM preferences, you can choose a port that simply EVERYthing allows. Port 80, 21, etc. Just be aware that you're sharing that with whatever else is on that channel. Still, it depends on the packets sent.. AIM is UDP, yeah? A business network would have minimal use for anything outside of browsing applications...

Hmph. Ah well, you'll figure it out. Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps.

can we somehow mirror www.kproxy.com on the testtube? the site itself is blocked, but if it were on here and i was the only one accessing it, i doubt it would ever get flagged

www.ergraiders.com/colin.htm

the script is still hosted from kproxy but i removed all instances of kproxy and replaced with IP address. along with removing all pop-up/unders.

if anyone can manage to extract "doproxy.jsp" i could host it on my server.

let me know if it works either way.

Your proxy doesn't work anymore, I think kproxy is down. Any chance of you setting up that proxy?
