Coolness. Hernan Cattaneo is way > Ferry Corsten, imo. DJ Elusive and he rock on their Oslo Nights sets. My electronic music tastes are pretty narrow these days. Most trance is crappy.. all I really listen to is progressive house/D&B/breaks/trip-hop. DJ Icey and Shadow own!!
I just saw Deftones February 20th on their Taste of Chaos tour. Didn't watch or pay attention to any of the gay ass emo bands that soiled the stage before Deftones got on. Was a badass concert, but they didn't play any songs off their upcoming album and Chino seemed a bit inebriated. :\
Well Tristan, if you're going from Hartford to Boston, you'll be driving right through my ol' town of Worcester, MA (Well, actually, right next to it) on the Mass Pike. Give me a couple of beeps while en route.
you are an extraordinary poet, Tris.

Yea right.
Well I didn't die, though some of us almost did.
2 mins into hartford and we already had police called on us, for "side swiping" a douschbag in an SUV. There was actually no collision and the guy tried to pin damage from a previous accident on us. I think the cop suspected about as much and let us go.
The club hernan played at was 21 and over and had a dresscode, not to our knowledge when we bought presales. It works out soemwhat, because it wouldn't have been so hot if my friend vomited all the jager he drank in the club instead of the parking garage.
Boston rocks, especially on st pattys day, and Avalon is a nice club. Mix-wise corsten is not bad, though I wish he didn't find it necessary to clip the mixers gains every track and cause peoples ears to ring for 2 days.
The rest of the trip was spent drinking lots.
Ah yes the Avalon Ball Room. I've seen Toad the Wet Sprocket, Jump Little Children, Howie Day, and Guster there. And it's accross from Fenway Park.

Yep. The show opened an hour or so after The Dropkick Murphys played.
