The RIAA, in all their wisdom, has deemed it not fair use to make backups of CDs for use on mp3 player.
This personally hurts my model of music business, which is: buy hard copy CD, rip to PC, transfer to player. Whether I listen to a song on a CD or on my mp3 player, I still purchased it. What's the big deal? I really want to know what sort of demented thoughts are going through these peoples' heads.
