Although quite a ways off from Global Browser World-domination, Mozilla is knocking down barriers...

"Mozilla's Firefox has managed to grab over 10 percent of the Web browser marker with its highest percentage to date, according to Web analytics firm OneStat.com on Tuesday."

hey, ten percent ain't bad. i'm sure they'll keep building on it.

speaking of firefox, in the start section of novemeber's issue of wired magazine, there's a small interview with the mozilla president, mitchell baker, called "is firefox insecure? (http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/13.11/start.html?pg=18)".

wow, thanks johnny, that interview is actually really helpful for my paper i need to write for my security class.

and yeah, go firefox! i'm tired of IE not being able to render shit. I mean, come on, the "position: fixed" element still doesn't work, and it's a freaking standard.

i'm remaking a website, and the differences between it in IE and Firefox are ridiculous. I had to hide code from IE so it would look okay in both browsers.

Look at this page in both browsers:

i used to have problems with it, but with the newest build of FF, it seems to work fine.

I'm about to try it out. The browser I use now (MyIE2) is really nice and everything, but lately it's been lagging really bad. So, I figure I might as well tryout FireFox.

I'd really like this browser a lot more if it had a feature that would allow me to resume a browser session after restarting the browser. So I wouldn't have to go back to the 5 or 6 pages I usually keep open.

only the best browser that exists in the world.!!! finally they are making something of it. Hopefully it will replace IE although the new IE has tabed browsing. :-P

the new IE supposedly will finally be able to render CSS correctly (in most instances), which will give me all sorts of new compatibility problems to ensure that my websites work in old IE, new IE, Firefox and everything else that works like it is supposed to.
