anyone still play FFXI?

i'm thinking of starting back up... from scratch (*sigh*).

does anyone still play, or have we all moved on to WoW? i moved for a while, but i have a desire to get back into (imho) XI's better community gameplay.

but anyway... if so, what server?

Did you ever call Squeenix up about the keys I gave you? Still unable to remember if I ever used them or not. Remember though, don't go to the Odin server! I might suggest checking out Hades..can't remember the other newer server they added, figure by now..it's been a good year or so since they created them, the economies and stuff should be fine.

i'm on ifrit... decided to buy a copy of XI for PC, jack the keys, and then return the game. this way, i screw over big corporations!

i really can't afford a monthly fee for a game to eat up hours of my life at a time. otherwise, FFXI would definitely be my game of choice. but yeah, the whole monthly fee and eating life thing.

I still play. Thought I was done so I deleted my character (was the second time so no bringing him back for sure), quit for two months; one was because of Hurricane Rita. I'm on the Odin server. If you're still interested let me know and I'll fix you up with a worldpass.

If I ever play another mmorpg, it would be City of Heroes.

Havn't played it since last sept. Having forgotten to cancel my playonline account however, did not stop them from charging me 12 dollars a month for a year. :(

i believe you only have to cancel your content IDs (i.e. your character)... playonline is a free service

Yep..first content id runs 12.95/mo or whatever...and each after is $1/mo.

Heh, I kept mine open for several months after quitting too...don't know why, maybe I thought I would actually start playing it again..hah.

I just quit in dec, got to level 73 on my BLM even got sea access which was cool. Sold it for 400$ which was cooler. I'd stay away though inflation is so bad now it's unreal. Scorp Harness I think was up to 13 mil? Kraken clubs were at least 150 mil.

Wow...Scorp harness on Odin was like up to 6.5 mil when I quit...maybe 7.
