If you use either Sprint PCS, or Nextel, as your wireless provider, you will find this interesting.

I didn't even know anything about this until I went onto sprints site lastnight to print out some past invoices. Anyways, I'm happy to see this, after things settle, I'll be able to exit my contract with sprint to go over to the Nextel network (yes, they will be continuing to use the 2 separate networks), without paying the $250 (or whatever ridiculous amount it may be) early termination fee.

Here's a link to the general merger FAQ:

most interesting... i'm on PCS.... the nextel phones are pretty spiffy. i was just hoping yesterday that they'd merge with t-mobile so i could pick up an n0gage. they're practically free at this point, and i'd like one.

Yeah, I use Nextel for work, and I believe my nextel gets better signal inside my house than my personal cell does, sprint just has some issues with their network, I mean, I can drive through the tunnels around here and not drop my call (I think they have repeaters installed finally), and then I can be anywhere else, with open blue skys, and my call will drop and my phone will say signal faded (and I instantly look and see full signal displayed).

The message should say something more along the lines of "network busy/loaded/sucks ball, and we kicked your ass off bitch."
