So I was watching the screen savers tonite, and on the show they showed a site called freeipods.com and at first I was like, 'you gotta be kidding, these guys HATE spam!" and basically, the site breaks down like this. You sign up on the site for a free 20gig ipod OR a 4gig colored ipod mini OR a 250$ gift certificate from itunes, and you go and complete an online offer that'll cost you maybe... thirty bucks total (for a some 300 dollar ipod) but your actually getting more stuff for your money, like ink cartridges, or music, or credit cards, anyway. Then you have to refer 5 people who must complete the offer. then you wait 15-30 days for processing and shipping and you have an ipod. Unless i've been totally duped by a show I've been watching for years, this is a completely real offer. (course if anyone remembers pyrimid schemes, there cant be more than seven generations of free ipods. (cuz thats more than the population of the earth.) anyhow, if you interested in getting a free ipod or 250 dollars for itunes, go and complete the offer (course do it under my referals so I can get a free one...) Apparently, Gratis Internet, the company doing this, has been doing so for a long time, they say they've given away over 4 mil in items so far. be tee dubya, feel free to disregard this, you know I hate spam too.

It's not even worth it even if it is real. The liklihood that 90% of the people involved with be both wasting their time, money, and safe e-mail inbox is too great to be outweighed by an iPod mini.

i know the ipod is free and all, but i'd much rather have an archos. that way i can actually use it how i want, and the battery isn't going to die in a year.

its a fact of life that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. i've had people try to sign me up for this before, and it just reeks of shadiness.

its a fact of life that aged platitudes are often wrong, of course, its your prerogative.

Who wants to do some betting ...

By the time Jeperel gets the Pink iPod, not only will theTestTube not be in existence, but the RIAA will somehow crack down on iTunes and the other 'legal' music sharing apps.

Eh, eh!?
