As the slash dotters call it, The "Dangerfield" (http://www.intel.com/products/processor/itanium2/) Processor, because it still gets no respect.

Of course I'm talking about the Itanium brand of processor, at only 1.4 ghz it still beats the 2.0 ghz Opteron and the 3.01 ghz Xeon processor hands down. But why hasnt it gotten the recognition it so deserves?

The Bush Administration.

Naw, I kid, it is probably the publics bias toward recognizable brand names and inability for anyone except that computer guy at your office to truly understand its power and nobility. This processor chip could feed millions if served with a fine hummus dip made with tahini, NOT PEANUT BUTTER!

If it beats the capability of a Xeon 3.01 ghz, imagine what a processor like this could do at 2 or 3 ghz.
