Ailsean - (Chrono Cross) Nikki Learns A Song
from OC remix

"Imagine the Sage of Marbule sitting cross-legged on the stage of the Magical Dreamers' stage holding his strange, sitar-like instrument. Nikki the Rockin' Bard is standing across from him, watching the old man play. Being the great performers they are, Nikki and his band quickly pick up the tune from the Demi-humans and somehow join in at the second time through without ever making a mistake. I hate it when they do stuff like that in TV shows, games, and movies. But hey, who wants to sit for 3 hours watching Nikki and his crew learn a song? It slows the plot development. "

it fucking rawks get it now! I'll even post a link for you guys!

glad to see some vg music, but i'd recommend Ailsean's collaboration with virt from Final Fantasy VI "Dancing Mad Once Again", seeing as how it kicks so much ass. Ailsean is a cool guy in real life too, and if anyone would have taken up my offer to go to MAGFest, you would have met him too.

listened to the whole thing last night. it's decent. some of the bleach era demos are just rediculous. quality range is from horrible to great. i liked a few of the b-side's i hadn't heard, and some of the demos are cool to hear. my overall rating is undecided. it might be worth getting if you're itching for nirvan to listen to.

wow, Dirty quickly went from an Sonic Youth album that I always assumed was not very good to one of my favorites. It's not as chaotic as Daydream Nation or Goo, and it's not as pretty as A Thousand Leaves, and it isn't even as defining as Murray Street or Sonic Nurse. So yeah, that puts five other albums above it, but sometimes I can't handle the noise, and sometimes the tameness of A Thousand Leaves isn't enough. So, it's nice for when I want a good mix.

there are some crazy awesome b-sides from the green album era. if you can find a song called "Teenager" (i believe that's what it is called) it is really great, i'm totally surprised it got cut over say... any of the songs on the green album.

Either:
A. Someone comes and breaks your true loves clavicles every three years from now on.
B. You take a pill that makes everything sound like an Alice In Chains cover. You listen to korn's freak on a leash, it sounds like an alice in chains cover. A full on symphony orchestral version of the War of 1812, no, Alice in chains cover.

yeah i totally agree, but the good parts are way better than anything in de-loused, even the dual spacey solos in Citracez E.S.P aren't as good as as the stuff on here. i think i like it a lot more, but i'm in the minority there. omars guitar playing on this is improved immensly, he's got psychadellic chops.
