While the less-successful follow-up Apollo 18 mostly treaded water, it did feature quite a heavy-handed gimmick. In a last-ditch effort to make the record memorable, The Johns included twenty very brief tracks labeled as

That fingertips concept just sounds like Ween's "GodWeenSatan" but with less substance. I dunno, could be cool I guess. Never been too into TMBG.

they're releasing a new chocodog cd soon (i think it's supposed to be the first in a series of cds). it's called shinola, and it's a bunch of old b-sides and demo stuff i guess. but with improved quality i hope, because there are rough versions of most of the old stuff they could release on the weenftp (http://www.weenftp.org/) website. in any case, it'll be neat if one of the shinola cds has that "young chou lin" tune from the chocolate & cheese sessions on it.

god it seems like we end up turning a music thread into a ween thread once a month at least.
