Anyone else played it yet? I've been playing it since it came out and I'm having fun with it, gonna pick it up on release day, that way I have someone to play around with at the lan when I'm not busy (I'll probably be able to beat the game over the weekend).

I've got down piloting the jets, except when I'm doing a flyover (the aircraft carrier) to restock my ammo and get an armor repair or 10, and a friendly chopper or harrier decides to hover up in my general direction, bastards.

Download it you should, if there's enough people I'll turn my Demo server back on and we'll play.

my friend keeps telling me to come over and check it out on his system, but i was never a huge fan of a lot of things in the first game. its a good idea though, so i'll probably at least end up looking into it or watching it.

I'm having fun with it, though I'd like my new processor before I relaly get into it.

Yeah..I keep having to answer questions in game, people asking "why am I lagging so bad?!" when they have a sub 100 ping, or why are they lagging at the start of a map, etc (but as soon as that person said they were on a laptop I TK'd them).

I found the first one moderately fun. I played it in the computer labs at school a lot my Freshman year. I never really liked the aircraft handling though, is it improved at all?

i got kinda used to them after a while, but it didn't mean they weren't bad. bombing shit just wasn't as fun as it could be...

Yeah, the jets seem quite easy to fly with a keyboard & mouse setup if you just take 5-10 minutes to just get used to it. The helos on the other hand, I'm not steady with them yet, but, they aren't all that bad, I can take it off from the ship in the demo map, and land it on land, but I usually just go on my own solo mission to fly it where I want to go, and then point the nose down, then eject and parachute, hopefully killing people in the process (and not myself..).
