(on a side note)
If any tubers get a wild hair up their ass and actually come out, I'll be at the admin table, I'm running the UT2k4 tourney. Seriously, do it...you know you want to.

i've never been great at FPS's and something tells me that going down there and playing a game i've never touched before could be a bad idea.

i agree with creep... i'd like a huge lan that wasn't obsessed with the newest games. i.e. i'd love to play in a 64-player match of quake 2, but i don't think that anyone's really into older FPS anymore...

but i'd go to a lan to play some sweet co-op RPGs. too... playing some D2 or Nox or BG or NWN with 0 pings and full games would be pretty radical as well.

a d2 lan would absolutely rock. someone else find the venue, and the people, and i'll supply the bawls, and other various high-caffine, high-engery food/drink.

Haha, I'm sure we'll have some kids playin' D2, plus we already got the bawls and hot dogs (omg that sounds so wrong).

Well, I was wrong, there were no hot dogs, but, lots of other stuff (plus a krispy kreme right down the street we went to at 6am).

I was up for 43 hours straight before i was able to get 3 hours rest...that was the only crappy part about it. That, and the kids bringing in their crappy unprotected, virus filled computers, was kinda funny seeing the sasser virus take down so many systems in one night.

43 hours...i would not be very happy. hopefully it was pretty fun at least.

Yeah, friday night I was the only one going around helping people for a bit while others were sleeping, someone let loose the sasser worm on the network and caused...I'd say a good 10-20 people req'd formats that night and saturday. Pretty much once my tournament was going, which didn't get started until saturday at noon I think..can't remember, I didn't play games or anything, just kept the tournament running, helped out on the floor when i had to, etc.

It was fun regardless, was a nice weekend, but glad it's over too.

I slept for 13 hours lastnight.
