Okay, if you've read the book, not so scary, okay, the movie, most terrifying thing I've ever seen, I was jumping around in terror in my seat so much, a screw fell out. Oh god, wtf, why would anyone make a movie so crazy scary. omg, someone hold me...

(I kissed someone through the really scary parts, that helpped...)

I never saw the original movie, or read the book, but, the remake was really good. It was pretty scary, and not lame scary like most horror movies are today. Very decent horror movie.

I love the original (and even the majority of it's sequels). From the preview I saw this one doesn't look like a remake of the original, it just looks like another sequel based on the original story. If I remember correctly the original was based on the actual murders that took place in the house, and they added some demonic shit in for interest. But all the movies after that were just families that moved in and fell under the same curse.

on the way home, I was thinking to myself, "If I see a little girl on the roadway... shes getting run over..."

also, MGM is sueing the real George Lutz for making an inquiry about the film.
