i dont feel like retyping the exact same thing i had, but basically an artist of the week of music would be good, with links to free music and an album you would recommend.

this would also be good for gaming as well, pick a game and system, and have it be a featured game that week and tell why you like it.

post any other ideas for articles or regular columns/topics here.

If we're going to return TTT to its former glory, we're going to need gaudy signature pictures and lots of 'em!

I think I need to delve into my old backup discs and resurrect some of my first Photoshop concoctions.

this is a good idea. each image will need a minimum of one or two lens flares.

how bout hosting bit torrent files or trackers for indie bands, or indie movies, or any other cool media we could find. (obviously, the less legal the swag we host, the bigger the crowd we draw. We could even start with the bad stuff and drop it when we have the target audeience, just switch to indie stuff entirely.)

Just the indie stuff would entail us going out and looking for indie bands at first, which shouldnt be so hard, theres a WHOLE BUNCH in my area, we could each just go to shows and try to get the bands to give us a sample cd and sign some kind of waiver saying we can share their shit til they get signed or whatever.

Indy movies... mmm... not so many around here, but malta is in NY and they have indy movie houses. my brother runs an indy movie company in NJ, we could have him share his online with us. or any of his indy movie friends.

honestly, this idea, the one i had while writing this post, about the indy thing, you realize, I havent seen online ever. So its pretty unique, we'd draw a crowd I'm pretty sure. Whats your thoughts, we may not have to do the illegal thing first to grab the crowd.

Of course combined with the reviews section, we could directly link to those torrents and stream line the whole thing.

Another bit, I noticed a lot of torrent sites have a donate button. If our audience swelled enough, we wouldnt have to worry about the money it takes to get into shows. Say we each went to 5 shows a month. thats like 60 bucks, not including gas, we could give each staff member a stipend or whatever to offset the costs and to buy insane amounts of weed with. just kidding, dont do drugs kids!

Yeah donations would be cool as long as were totally legit (no software/movies/copyrighted music). If GT was able to set up a tracker and host torrents, that would rock nuts.

that would definitely be cool...it's all a matter of getting it to work and getting enough interest in unsigned, independent artists who are willing to give their music away.

I have the trainspotting signature saved on my desktop computer. Just give me a few days to actually be in my room when my roommate isn't sleeping.

not to completely derail this topic but...

yeah here's all my shitty sigs. most of them reflect an interest in music or movies or just general mood at the time, cuz im so emo and stuff.
