I was pretty lame about it, actually. I was planning to wait for the weekend, but I just couldn't so I just sort of popped the question in her daughter's room while she was cleaning. It was sweet. Not "out of the movies" romantic...but she was happy, and that's really what I was going for.

We chose June 19 of next year. We're getting married on a big hill overlooking valley. The view is incredible. We're both really happy and really excited.

I'm going to be a husband AND step dad. To think...you guys knew me when I was like 14 or some shit. Just insane.

I know this is old, but I was just reading the replies and I laughed so hard at Jesse's reply I almost fucking cried.

No real news to report, other than things are bitchin' and whatnot...and Jesse almost made me pee.

Also, I'm stoned...and don't really know what I'm talking about. Well done Jesse. You've made a baked man laugh.

Some friends from Spain came through NYC yesterday and when I met them for lunch, I got to be the first person to see Natalie's new ring! Her boyfriend had proposed the night before in Central Park.

All my friends are getting married, I'm just getting drunk.

Well, I was stoned. I had a thought that I wanted to share. Aside from that...I didn't have much to share.

See, I don't have friends from exotic locations that pass through my area every now and then. I just have...well, pretty much the same thing every day.

Now I'm at work. Not stoned. Still nothing to really share.

I do have some thoughts on your boobs, Liss...but I'll save that for another day.
