So, who's planning on going? At first I thought this year's Ozzfest was looking very shitty, with way too much metalcore for my liking. But, today I read that In Flames and Arch Enemy will be playing, and, well, consider my ticket bought.

Main Stage:
Black Sabbath.
Iron Maiden.
Shadows Fall.
Black Label Society.
And some band that's to be announced.

Second Stage:
Rob Zombie.
Killswitch Engage.
As I Lay Dying.
Mastodon.
A Dozen Furies.
The Haunted.
In Flames.
Arch Enemy.
The Black Dahlia Murder. (Also sweet)
Bury Your Dead.
It Dies Today.
Soilwork.
Trivium.

So yea, that will be sweet. Plus getting to see Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.

I have a few friends that would like to go see it, and I'd love to see Sabbath and Maiden. I've seen Black Dahlia Murder with Cannibal Corpse. I hear Ozzfest doesn't play Toronto and I doubt it'd come to Buffalo so it would have to be the next closest place.

i guess the rumor about anthrax was a joke or not official, but they, maiden and sabbath were the reason i wanted to go. it's going to be hard to justify a ticket now for just Sabbath and Maiden. although shadows fall and bls would be nice, its a lot of money and annoying people just to see that.

The tickets are a bit pricey, yea, but, I think it's worth it. 2 legendary bands, plus today's bands.

Arch Enemy live is such a great experience. Their guitarists are so fucking..amazing. Definitely my favorite band to see live.

"Jul. 21 - Buffalo, NY - Darien Lakes"

Sweet. How much are tickets?

And yea the cannibal corpse show was sick.

Not quite sure yet. Ozzfest tickets are usually a bit expensive, since there's many bands on the bill. Rough guess I'd say you can at least expect to spend $75 on a ticket.

This is the best Ozzfest line up I've ever seen, but it still isn't good enough for me to go.

Yea, this is definitely one of the best by far. Finally good enough for me to shell out the money for a ticket.

wow, no love for canada. that's surprising.. i would have expected at least a toronto date, and maybe vancouver and montreal too.

but most of us canadians (myself included) listen to good music, so we won't be missing much. (just foolin' around, jesse :P)

woah, what? me and thecreeper saw them in philly when they toured with the advantage. i was a little dissapointed, but i was really tired and hungry by the time their set came on.

i think it helps to know the material, i had no idea what to expect and with the rest of the crowd pretty into it, i just wasnt feeling it.

but then again we had been there for awhile at that point and i was majorly tired.

i like the album "milkman" alot, and i think that most of those tunes will be pretty wild live. and if it sucks, well tickets are only $10, so i won't much care. :P
