Hi TTT longtime no see. Being that my FFXI playing is on hold, and the internet sucks now besides downloading movies/games, can anyone recommend a good torrent site? Much obliged.

i used exeem lite for awhile which seemed pretty sweet, but either my school blocked it or the program stopped working because now i cannot connect.

Among most of the sites mentioned here, I also tried Exeem. Though, I don't know how well it works outside of a huge school firewall.

this one seems to be pretty good.

i wish exeem still worked here...looks like the school might have blocked it.

i've never tried soulseek, don't you have to be accepted by each user in order to see what they have?

raublekick

kinda, it's like kazaa or whatever in that you can search for whatever files. but then i can add you to my userlist, and you can browse all of my files and download whatever. i can see what you are doing with my shit so if you don't follow the rules i set then i can ban you from using me.

it's really nice, i wish more people would use it.

i dunno if it would work too well for me since i cannot allow people to download from me at school or else the network guys get real bitchy and cut you off.

I started using soulseek recently. How can you tell what people are doing with your files?

I started using soulseek recently. How can you tell what people are doing with your files?

at the very bottom of the window (like the bottom status bar in a webbrowser) it will say what's going on, like what people are searching for, etc. plus you can just go to th transfers window and see that some douche queued up 1000 mp3s.

what's yr name on slsk? i'll add you to my user list.

I used to use Soulseek a lot at home, but, now that I'm at school, it's hard to use any p2p apps. But yea, I like SoulSeek a lot. It's great for downloading entire CDs at a time.

definately, just find someone who had what you're looking for, send them a message and ask them if you can grab it, and then proceed with downloading

pssst... I got the new star wars KOTOR 2 game from thailand (just different box, same buggy english dialouge) and I would NOT like to share it with you people. So if you want it, DO NOT im me and ask me for the iso's...

btw, by importing an american game ALL the way from thailand, I saved ten dollars. (/me is an asshole for that)

as far as i can tell they are, donnie... libble is only useful for music, but for some (like me) that's the most important type of piracy.

i have links for sites that do japanese television shows as well, if anyone is into that kinda thing.

bump in the name of piracy. anyone else have any currently they visit?

For Music ... I use Napster. Their selection is average, about on par with iTunes or the other pay services, which is better than Limewire and the non-pay services. They have that catch where when you stop paying ($9.99/month), you lose your music ... and you are limited to what you can put your music on (only napster-friendly mp3 players)... But ... I get around that by just re-recording my music after Downloading it ... it's easy, doesn't take any time, and I just rerecord the songs from Napster to MP3... do whatever I want with them. It's also impossible for anybody to track that ... unless you're like me and you talk about it at website forums.
